Is there a free Caspermate plan?
Yes. The free plan gives you a full video-response scenario and a full typed-response scenario, run under real exam timing. Both come back with the same AI scoring and competency feedback our paying members get. You can judge the quality before spending anything. All you need is an email address, no credit card. These two scenarios are yours to complete once, and upgrading opens the rest of the question bank.
What's the difference between Caspermate Pro and Elite?
Pro includes 7 video-response scenarios, 10 typed-response scenarios, and 17 AI evaluations scored against the Casper competencies. Elite adds unlimited additional practice, the ability to compare your performance against other candidates, and the ability to retry scenarios with fresh AI feedback. Pro is right for most candidates running a single focused 6–8 week prep cycle; Elite suits candidates who want to drill weak competencies repeatedly or who are resitting in a future cycle.
Can I cancel my Caspermate subscription anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions cancel via the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you retain access until then. There is no minimum subscription length.
Do you offer refunds?
No refunds are issued on subscription periods that have already started, which is standard for SaaS platforms. The best way to avoid an unwanted charge is to cancel before your next renewal, cancellation is instant and takes effect at period end. If you have a billing issue, contact support@caspermate.com.
Will my subscription auto-renew?
Yes. Your subscription renews each month until you cancel. Stripe sends a renewal receipt to your email each cycle. To stop auto-renewal, cancel via the customer portal at any time before the renewal date.
Is Caspermate affiliated with Acuity Insights?
No. Caspermate is an independent preparation platform built by candidates who scored well on the Casper test. We are not affiliated with Acuity Insights or any admissions body. The competency rubric we score against is based on the publicly documented Casper assessment criteria.
