Acceptance of Terms

Caspermate is operated by CARDILOG PTY LTD (ABN 71 686 097 290). By creating an account or using Caspermate, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and CARDILOG PTY LTD (referred to as “Caspermate”, “we”, or “us”).

Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

Educational Use Only

Caspermate is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Acuity Insights (the provider of the Casper test, formerly Altus Assessments), or any admissions body. Practice scenarios, sample answers, and AI feedback are for educational purposes only and do not guarantee any particular outcome in the official assessment.

Subscriptions & Payment

Paid plans renew automatically on the billing cycle shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the settings page; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law. See our Refund Policy for details.

Q4 Guarantee

If you are on the Elite monthly plan, complete every practice scenario available on your account, sit the Casper test, and your official result comes back below the 4th quartile, we will give you an extra month of Elite free to prepare for your next sitting. A month is enough to work through the whole bank again, which is what the guarantee is for.

Elite monthly only. The Pro plan allows 10 typed and 7 video scenarios a month, and the weekly Elite plan runs for seven days. Neither gives you enough access to finish the bank, so neither carries the guarantee. We would rather say that plainly than advertise a promise you could not collect on.

Finish before you sit. Every scenario available on your account on the day of your sitting, across both the typed and video sections, has to have been answered and scored. An empty submission on a timer expiry does not count, and a sitting that happened before you finished is not covered. We check this against your account records, so there is nothing for you to activate beforehand. Scenarios we publish after your sitting date are not counted against you.

Claim within 30 days. Email your official Acuity Insights score report to support@caspermate.com within 30 days of receiving it, from the address on your account. It needs to show the quartile and the sitting date. A dashboard screenshot is fine.

One claim per person. We apply the free month to your existing subscription, so nothing changes about how you log in, and you can still cancel at any time. If you have already cancelled, we will reinstate Elite for the month instead. The guarantee is tied to your account and the score report you claim with. It is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or account credit. We may change or withdraw the guarantee at any time, and the terms in force on the day you sit are the ones that apply to your claim. This guarantee is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to copy, scrape, resell, or publish Caspermate content; share your account with others; attempt to reverse engineer the service; or use the platform to submit unlawful, abusive, or misleading content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

Intellectual Property

All scenarios, questions, rubrics, copy, and platform code are owned by Caspermate or its licensors. You retain ownership of the responses and content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, process, and transmit that content to our AI evaluation and transcription providers solely to evaluate your responses, operate the service, and (in de-identified or aggregated form) analyse and improve the service. We do not publish your individual responses, and we do not sell them or use them to train third-party public AI models. To the extent it applies to de-identified or aggregated data, this licence survives deletion of your account.

AI-Generated Feedback

Responses are evaluated by an AI model and scored against competency rubrics. Feedback is provided as guidance only, may contain errors, and should not be treated as a prediction of your official assessment result.

Disclaimer & Liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, and to the maximum extent permitted by law: the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind; Caspermate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform; where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, you indemnify CARDILOG PTY LTD and its officers, employees, and contractors against any loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from or in connection with your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you submit that infringes the rights of, or causes loss to, any third party. Your liability under this indemnity is reduced to the extent our acts or omissions contributed to the loss.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. On termination, your right to use Caspermate ends immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Caspermate after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign, novate, or transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a related body corporate, or in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganisation of our business, and you consent to any such transfer.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and CARDILOG PTY LTD submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, and the courts competent to hear appeals from them. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision is read down to the minimum extent necessary or, if it cannot be read down, severed, and the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
